Chapter 6. Artistic Explorations
In this chapter of artistic explorations, our experiments will become more painterly and expressive. Instead of looking at ways to create different photographic styles, these explorations look at options that are much more graphic and linear. They look to flatten graduated tones into flat shapes, smooth transitions into dappled textures, and transform tonal edges into drawn lines. A few of these effects require a certain amount of drawing skill and a digitizing tablet, but if nothing else they provide examples of what's possible in the realm of artistic expression within Photoshop. |
