Working with Placeholder Child Objects

There are two child objects of the Placeholder object. We have already covered both of them exhaustively.

Definition

The Definition is the PlaceholderDefinition that we covered throughout this chapter. This is an in-memory reference to the actual definitions found in the PlaceholderDefinitions collection of a template. It is meant for reference only.

Posting

This is the Posting object to which the Placeholder object belongs. Once we have a reference to this, assuming sufficient rights, we can do anything that we discussed in Chapter 26.
