If You Want to Experiment

As you draw, you will notice that you are alternately creating objects and then copying and editing them. This is where the difference between hand drafting and CAD really begins to show.

Try drawing the wide flange beam shown in Figure 3.18. The figure shows you what to do, step by step. Notice how you apply the concepts of layout and editing to this drawing.
