DON'T RANK ITFLAG IT

I have to admit itranking in Photoshop 7's File Browser was a bit clunky. You had to Control-click (PC: Right-click) on a file then choose a ranking of A, B, C, or D for each photo. In Photoshop CS, the process of sorting the "keepers" from the "dumpers" has gotten much more streamlined thanks to flagging. As you search through your photos in the File Browser, when you come to one you want to keep (a "keeper") just press Command-' (PC: Control-' [that's an apostrophe]) and the file becomes "flagged" (it even adds a tiny flag icon to the bottom right corner of the photo's thumbnail). Once you're done flagging, to see just your flagged photos, from the Show pop-up menu (in the upper right-hand corner of the File Browser) choose Flagged Files.
