One of the problems when scanning in images is that it is difficult to get a perfectly straight scan. In addition, if you are scanning multiple images at a time, you traditionally have had to individually crop and save each image. Photoshop CS has a new autocrop feature that will automatically straighten and crop your scanned images.
Open or scan in the image you would like to automatically crop and straighten.
Click on the layer that contains those images. Alternatively, you can create a selection around the images for which you would like to create separate files.
Click on File . The file menu will appear.
Click on Automate . A submenu will appear.
Click on Crop and Straighten Photos . All of the images on the layer will be straightened, cropped, and opened in their own separate window.
