Rearranging clips is as simple as dragging cards around in Windows Solitaire. If you want to move a clip, just click and drag it to another storyboard location. When you release your mouse button, Movie Maker drops the clip into its new location.

You can select multiple clips to move at the same time. The storyboard's thumbnail images show the result of the clips' rearrangement . As soon as you rearrange the storyboard, the movie's playback is rearranged accordingly . All storyboard clips, including video, still pictures, transitions, and special effects, are available for movement on the storyboard.

If you move one clip with a transition in front of it to another storyboard location, Movie Maker removes the transition. If you move two or more consecutive clips to a different location, any transitions between the moved clips will move with the clips to their new location.
